Nursing

Our nursing staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and on duty 12 hours a day, seven days a week. They dispense medications, assess medical needs, and contact doctors and medical facilities. Staff are on call during evening hours and throughout the night. A podiatrist comes to visit on a monthly basis. Staff is attentive to health or behavior changes and notifies the nurses. If a resident becomes ill, the nurse does an assessment and contacts the resident's personal physician. An appointment is scheduled, if necessary, and family is contacted.
